My name is Tim Day, an established professional decorator, operating in the South Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire areas. My business was established in 1984 and over the past 40 years I have compiled a large and loyal clientele, whose homes benefit from my experience and extensive knowledge in the trade of Painting & Decorating.

When working upon a client’s home, I feel it is all important that the client receives the best all round service available. I believe that the tradesman should not only be able to achieve a high a standard of decorative finish, but to be polite, a pleasure to employ and also with the peace of mind that I am insured for over 1 million pounds of public liability insurance, I deliver a complete decorating service that is specifically tailored around my customer’s needs and demands. By being efficient, punctual and extremely tidy while undertaking the work, so as to cause as little disruption as possible to the running of the family home.

When commissioned by the client for an estimate. Firstly the estimate itself is free of charge. This includes a consultation with my client, to obtain all the details of the finish and colours they require, in order to compile a detailed estimate and specification that encompasses all the requirements stipulated by the client. I find that a full consultation with the client is essential to fully understand their aspirations for the finished product. Actually listening to the client’s needs and requirements and advising them with my many years of experience where necessary, is the key to a good and successful business relationship.

I am City & Guilds qualified with a pass of three distinctions, a complete apprenticeship with a local well established family run Decorating firm, certified and approved with papers by the C.I.T.B, qualifications in decoration and design, and over 40 years of full time interior and exterior decorating experience. With this trading history, I feel that I have mastered the craft of decorating, enabling my customers to realize the full range of their imaginations when it comes to decorating their homes, with no restrictions. From silk wallpapers to lining paper from matt emulsions to the scumble glaze of broken colour finishes, no job is impossible.
